On August the 2nd, 2024, Dr. Srivathsa Magadi, an IMBB alumnus and currently a post doctoral researcher in the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences, Linköping University, Sweden, gave a semimar at IMBB on "Ribosomal Proteins in Neuroinflammation: Advanced Insights from Translatome Studies”.

His research focuses on the intersection of neurobiology and molecular biology and particularly on the role of ribosomal proteins in neuroinflammatory processes. He employs advanced translatome studies in mouse models to uncover new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
